Just returned from our pretty-much annual trip to Jamaica. Once again, we stayed at Half Moon Montego Bay, the place where Kishna and I were married way back in 2004. This year, we were confronted with two huge surprises during our trip. The first is that Half Moon just completed a $200 million renovation project that includes a new Great House, new restaurants, new rooms and suites, new beach and pool, a new beach bar, and much more. All part of a new area of the resort called The Eclipse. Quite a swanky and comfortable setup, and we enjoyed hanging out there.
If the new Eclipse development had been the only surprise, that would have been pretty good. But there was more – much more! The really big surprise was that our longtime friend and favorite diva Karen Smith was performing at the new Eclipse Great House on the second night of our visit! That was extra special, because the venue was brand new, it was Karen’s first time appearing there, and it felt like she was performing just for us! What a treat!
